Submissions

Residual House Publishing is always interested in hearing from new authors and discovering distinctive work that fits our publishing program. We welcome inquiries from writers with completed manuscripts who would like their work to be considered for publication.

To submit for consideration, please use our Contact page and select “Manuscript submissions” from the inquiry type dropdown. Include a short author bio in your inquiry as well as any previous publishing credits.

We do not accept unsolicited full manuscripts. Instead, please submit two chapters or short stories from a finished manuscript for initial consideration. Samples may be provided in either PDF or DOCX format and should follow Shunn modern manuscript formatting.

If the work is of interest, we will contact you to request additional material. Please do not send a full manuscript unless invited to do so.
